From Gottfried Bammes book “Der Nackte Mensch”.
Gosh this is going to be a very useful reference for me in the future. I always tend to mess up poses like these ones.
And to be honest, it feels like there’s way too little references over the flexibility of the spine… And I think some *cough* comic artists *cough* should consider this before they break the spine on the superheroines in their comics, stylization is one thing - using exaggerated pin-up poses on every drawing is another.

Bammes’ book “Die Gestalt des Menschen” is the single most useful book on anatomy and figure drawing I own, despite it being all in German. I bought it when I didn’t really have the money for it, and haven’t been sorry for even a millisecond. If it ever comes out in English I’ll buy it all over again. :D
